Overview The Instructional Designer/Developer takes on the role of designing and developing end-user training modules, courses, and curricula that feature learning technologies. They use authoring and graphic design software to develop computer-based training, video-based training, mobile learning, distance learning, simulations, and virtual classroom solutions.
Responsibilities
Instructional Designer/Developer will be responsible for the strategy, design and oversight of the development for this initiative.
Responsible for the development of training materials and content, such as eLearning and other on-demand learning resources, in tools such as Articulate Storyline.
Development of eLearning as well as supplemental training materials such as micro-tutorials and job aids.
Directly supervise the work of a development resource.
Work directly with SMEs in the completion of this work and perform as a member of the overall training team keeping the project updated on the training deliverables and associated progress.
Responsible for writing and editing materials, as well as, posting to an on-demand learning area.
Required Experience and Skillset
Experience in applying instructional design methodologies, such as ADDIE or Agile, to create interactive and effective eLearning and other performance support resources
